Astrum Avocats was founded by Maître Frédéric Ichay and Maître Julien Espeillac, both after having worked in large international firms.

Astrum Avocats is an independent business law firm specialized in high value-added advice to SME and investors (business angels, family offices and private equity funds), both French and international.
The firm specializes in business law, corporate and M&A. It works both in contentious and non- contentious matters, on all the issues encountered by its clients in the management and development of their activities (company law, mergers & acquisitions, commercial law, collective proceedings).
Astrum Avocats offers its clients support in the development of their projects, to meet their constraints and their legal, economic, financial or cultural challenges.

    Julien is co-founding partner of Astrum Avocats. He is a member of the Paris bar.
    He assists his clients in their mergers & acquisitions, capital investment, fundraising and restructuring operations.
    His expertise also leads him to advise his clients on contentious matters in these areas (price supplement, liability guarantee, company valuation expertise, implementation of shareholders agreement, situations of conflicts between partners).
    He graduated from ESSEC business school and holds a Master degree in business law, Julien has worked for 13 years in Corporate-M & A teams of prestigious Anglo-Saxon firms before founding Astrum Avocats.
    Julien is also a member of the Paris Business Angels network since 2017.

    Frédéric is co-founding partner of Astrum Avocats. He is a member of the Paris bar.
    He began his career more than twenty years ago in Singapore where he advised large international groups active in the energy and new technologies sectors as part of their growth operations throughout Southeast Asia.
    Frédéric specializes in business law, commercial law and mergers and acquisitions. He supports his clients both in France and abroad (Africa, North Africa and the Middle East, Southeast Asia).
    Frédéric is listed in the Legal 500 “Corporate and M&A”, Best Lawyer as well as in the Who’s Who Legal. He regularly participates in conferences and seminars and is also a member of the International Bar Association.
